Founded by WOC, native New Yorker Denetrias ‘Dee’ Charlemagne and UK-native Alex Doman and named after the word with in French, AVEC’s flavors are a spin on classic cocktails, inspired by so many things — Ginger by Dee’s West Indian aunt’s rum punch, Jalapeño & Blood Orange by a classic NYC spicy marg, and Hibiscus & Pomegranate by a trip to Mexico with way too many agua frescas. Made with real juice and no nasties all flavors are <4g of sugar and <20 calories — add spirit for a cocktail or have on AVEC on its own as a zero-proof treat!

Denetrias “Dee” Charlemagne is co-founder of AVEC. A NYC native, Dee was formerly an advertising executive with a blend of experiences spanning traditional marketing, digital, media, branded content and publishing. Dee holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and bachelors from Harvard University.

Alex Doman is co-founder of AVEC who previously worked as a principal consultant at a boutique management consulting firm in London. He developed a specialty in Hospitality, Food & Beverage – advising many of the UK’s leading brands. Alex graduated from Columbia Business School with an MBA, London Business School with a MiM, and Edinburgh University with a degree in History.
