The Mission

Access is not. Black Ambition is a non-profit initiative working to close the opportunity and wealth gap through entrepreneurship. We invest capital and resources in high-growth startups founded by Black and Hispanic entrepreneurs. We believe entrepreneurs historically left out of traditional investment funnels are building the companies of tomorrow.

Mentor Program

The Black Ambition mentor program is an initiative that lifts up – and shines a light on – Black and Hispanic founders.  The mentor program provides founders with a community of mentors and fellow founders who support personal well-being and catalyze new relationships.

Black Ambition semifinalists engage in 12-weeks of curated programming focused on accessing mentorship and resources, building a collective among founders, keeping it 100, and glowing up!

Black Ambition’s mission is to close the opportunity and wealth gap in the United States by investing in Black, Hispanic, and HBCU-affiliated founders. We believe that closing the opportunity and wealth gap includes capital, as well as community, mentorship, resources, and networks.

Black Ambition is More Than Access to Capital

Your network is your net worth. We have tapped into a community of leaders who stand in full support of Black Ambition’s mission. These mentors pledge time with cohorts of semifinalists weekly, answering questions, and helping to tighten individual team pitches. These individuals advise the cohorts on specific topics and share their expertise across all facets of entrepreneurship.
