In 2026, Black Ambition enters a new phase of impact —one focused on deepening the success of founders already in our portfolio. This year, we’re deploying up to $1 million in follow-on capital to alumni Black Ambition prize winners—paired with expanded programming designed to accelerate their growth.
Since our launch, we’ve funded 157 dynamic founders across technology, AI, healthcare, media and entertainment, and consumer products.
Black Ambition is expanding to become a portfolio platform — a model built to take our 157 portfolio companies to scale. As part of our expansion, Black Ambition will not host a national prize competition in 2026. Instead, we’re focusing on taking our 157 portfolio companies deeper — helping them grow into generational, transformative businesses.

- Global ecosystem opportunities and access to investors and industry leaders
- Continued discovery of new founders through regional pitch collaborations and events in cities like South Florida, Virginia, Paris and Puerto Rico

- Fundable Founders Program – a 10-week, virtual accelerator preparing Florida based companies for investment and scale
