Application process.

Timeline.

The application period is open for two and a half months. Selected semifinalists then participate in a mentorship cohort refining their application and advancing their business. Grand prize winners are announced at the Black Ambition Demo Day. Our Unique Black Ambition prize process at a glance:

Prize Workshops.

Knowledge is power, and so is capital. Through the Black Ambition Prize selection process, we aim to reduce community information asymmetries, providing access to resources to better assist applicants on their entrepreneurship journey and preparing them for the pitch presentation. Women Who Lead

As a partner of Black Ambition, CHANEL has assembled a diverse group of industry leaders including Tracee Ellis Ross, Edith Cooper, Emma Grede, Natalie Massenet, and Samira Nasr for “Women Who Lead”, a conversation about leadership through a woman’s lens. Encompassing an expansive range of topics, the intimate conversation covers resilience and determination, mentorship, building culture and community, and the vital nature of self-confidence and clarity of vision and purpose.
