We are excited to announce the 2024 Black Ambition Prize Finalists! In our continued mission to break down barriers to capital access and close the racial wealth and opportunity gap, we proudly introduce the trailblazing entrepreneurs who have made it to this year’s finalist round. The competition, focused on empowering underrepresented entrepreneurs, provides the resources and mentorship needed to turn their bold visions into reality.

Our journey began in May with an applicant pool of several thousand innovators. We then advanced a remarkable cohort of 250 semifinalists, who embarked on a transformative 3-month learning and network building experience through the Black Ambitionist Mentorship Program, powered by Cinematica Labs. This program connected semifinalists with industry experts, peer learning opportunities, tailored training, and a powerful network of leaders to guide their entrepreneurial futures.

And now, we proudly unveil the Top 40 Finalists!

These visionary entrepreneurs have demonstrated exceptional promise and dedication. As they advance to the final stages of the Black Ambition Prize competition, we’re excited to offer them additional support to accelerate their businesses even further.

Each of our top 40 finalists will receive:

• Personalized Pitch Coaching: Access to expert pitch coaches for plenary and 1:1 guidance, fine-tuning their business pitch and presentation skills.
• Exclusive Learning Opportunities – Our partners at Cooley, a renowned global law firm representing some of the world’s most successful entrepreneurs and VC firms, have developed a 4-session learning lab series to support finalists through fundraising, trademarks,  SAFE agreements, commercial contracts, protecting IP, patents, and much more. 
• A Chance to Pitch for the $1M Grand Prize: Select finalists will be invited to participate in a live final round interview over the coming weeks. Up to 8 top finalists will pitch a panel of luminary investors and judges at Black Ambition’s annual Demo Day celebration, competing for the $1M grand prize.
